MERDEKA @ 118, a seven-storey glass domed shopping mall, the name "118" was derived from the number of floors in the Merdeka 118 tower which has a total of 118 storey. The mall is situated at the foot of the tower and will directly serve its precinct. A glass dome will be constructed as the roof of the mall to bring in filtered natural light into the centre of the mall. The mall's organic theme will have sculptural design-story elements and water-features based on Malaysian culture.

While developing the brand identity for the Merdeka 118 tower, I was also tasked with leading this project in parallel—balancing both over the course of the engagement. I translated the creative vision into a cohesive and scalable design system, applied consistently across all brand touchpoints spanning digital platforms, print materials, and other online and offline collateral, creating a unified brand presence that was both impactful and lasting.
